Anne Snow Discusses De-escalation in Syria in Egypt
ARK News.. The British envoy to Syria announced that she will meet with Egyptian officials to discuss de-escalation in Syria and developments in the political process.
In a tweet via the "X" platform, Anne Snow, the British envoy to Syria, said that she is visiting Cairo to exchange views between Britain and Egypt on Syria, including with the spokesman for the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Tamim Khalaf.
Snow explained that "the regional conflict is exacerbating the fragile situation in Syria, affecting ordinary Syrians who have already been through so much."
The British envoy to Syria confirmed that the United Kingdom is pushing for regional de-escalation and a Syrian-led political process, in line with Security Council Resolution 2254."
