ARK News.. An advisor to the Presidency of the Kurdistan Region expressed his surprise at the practices of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in releasing more than 1,000 ISIS members, and their refusal to rescue a single kidnapped woman from Al-Hawl camp.

Khairi Bozani, the advisor to the Presidency of the Kurdistan Region, said in a post on his Facebook page: "1,200 ISIS members have been released from the prisons of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF)."

Bozani added: "However, they (the Syrian Democratic Forces) refuse to allow us to rescue even one kidnapped (Yazidi) woman from Al-Hawl camp, which is under their control!"

In a previous statement to Shafaq News Agency, Khairi Bozani criticized the authorities of Al-Hawl camp (the Syrian Democratic Forces) for not cooperating to rescue the Yazidis detained in the camp.

Bozani added that although most of the Yazidis held in Al-Hawl camp have been rescued from the hands of ISIS terrorists, many of them are still being held inside the camp.

Bozani pointed out that the detained Yazidis are being threatened and monitored by ISIS families, which prevents them from revealing their true identity.

Bozani added that the authorities of Al-Hawl camp are not providing sufficient cooperation in rescue operations, but efforts will continue to rescue these detainees.

He explained that the fate of 2,601 Yazidis, including 1,235 women and 1,366 men, is still unknown.
