ARK News… Thirteen children were killed and injured, Monday afternoon, as a result of a wall collapsing on a tent designated for education in Sarmada city in the northern countryside of Idlib.
A local source said that the wall of a warehouse storing grains and fodder collapsed over an educational tent inside a private kindergarten building in the city of Sarmada, north of Idlib.
The source explained that the initial toll of victims indicated that 5 children were killed and 8 others and their teacher were seriously injured.
According to the same source, the reason for the collapse of the wall was due to the large storage pressure and the failure to reinforce the building in a manner commensurate with its intended purpose.
