ARK News… After the Jenderes town in Afrin, Syrian Kurdistan, witnessed a heinous crime in which a displaced person from Idlib killed a Kurdish minor and threw his body into a well, a delegation from the Barzani Foundation offered condolences to the family of the martyr Ahmed Mamo.

On Thursday, a delegation from the Barzani Charity Foundation offered condolences to the family of Khaled Ma’mo after the martyrdom of their 16-year-old son, “Ahmed,” on Wednesday (13/3/2024) by stabbing at the hands of the displaced person from the city of Idlib, Yamen al-Ibrahim, 18 years old.

For his part, Rawaj Haji, a member of the administrative body and the person in charge of the Afrin file at the Barzani Charity Foundation, called Khaled Mamo, the father of the martyr “Ahmed,” and consoled him with the martyrdom of his son, praying to God to make him dwell in His spacious paradise and inspire his family with patience and solace.

According to local sources, the perpetrator worked in the “Made” bakery, which was owned by the victim’s father, “Khaled Ma’mo,” and left the job following a dispute. A few days later, he lured the child to an agricultural area and killed him.

According to a statement by the Local Council of the Kurdish National Council in Afrin, when the criminal’s father learned of his son’s crime, he informed the military police and they immediately arrested him, and took out the martyr’s body on the same day at breakfast hour.

Thousands went out in massive demonstrations in the city of Afrin and its countryside, denouncing the crime and demanding justice and holding the killer accountable.
