On the 171st day of the start of the peaceful movement in the city of Suwayda, dozens of citizens participated in a popular demonstration in Karama Square in the center of the city, demanding freedom, the overthrow of the regime, the release of detainees, the peaceful transfer of power, and the implementation of Resolution 2254.
The demonstrators raised banners with the phrases written on them: “A cover and shoes are the ultimate dreams of a child in a country where he has only known a tent,” and “The Syrian people are one,” chanting slogans against the regime and its government.
