Turkey: The Syrian regime must fulfill several requirements before our forces withdraw from Syria
ARK News… Turkish Defense Minister, Yaşar Guler, stressed the need for the Syrian regime to fulfill several requirements before there can be a withdrawal of Turkish forces from northern Syria.
During an exclusive interview with the Turkish newspaper "Milliyet", Turkish Defense Minister Yasar Guler spoke about the current situation in the region and a number of important issues that concern regional and international public opinion.
Guler explained in his interview with the newspaper: We emphasize in every meeting that we have no intention of controlling the lands of others, as the president himself declares. We have no need for anyone's lands and we emphasize this clearly.
Guler added: The Syrian regime must fulfill several requirements before there is a withdrawal of Turkish forces from northern Syria, including establishing a new constitution and holding democratic elections, in addition to forming a government that represents all Syrian sects.
