Germany... The Kurdish-European Association organizes a session on the Yezidi issue in Cologne

ARK News… The Kurdish-European Association, under the title "The Yazidi Issue", organized a dialogue session in Germany, in which the participants discussed ways to preserve the Yazidi identity in Germany and the Diaspora.

The session, which was held on Saturday, August 6, 2023, in the city of Cologne, was attended by Sartaj Bujaq, head of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Bakur, and a number of academics and activists of the Kurdish community in Europe.

During the session, Bujaq delivered a speech in which he welcomed the audience and spoke briefly about the Yazidi issue, and many issues related to the Yazidi Kurds were discussed.

In this regard, Fawaz Bagarmani, a member of the Kurdish-European Association, said in an exclusive statement to Rebaz News, "Many issues were discussed in the session, such as preserving the Yazidi identity, opportunities and risks facing the Yezidi Kurds in Germany, the migration of Yazidis from Kurdistan, Turkey, and a number of other issues."

The session concluded with an open dialogue between the two communities.
