A delegation from the Zakho Organization of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria, headed by Hoshang Simgamoor, a member of the party's central committee, and a delegation from the Zakho branch of the Kurdistan Martyrs Foundation - Syria, headed by Ahmed Saeed, On Wednesday, July 26, 2023, received the bodies of four young men from Syrian Kurdistan who died on their way between Turkey and Greece.
The two delegations received the four bodies at the Ibrahim Khalil border crossing between the Kurdistan Region and Turkey, and the two delegations accompanied the bodies to the Pishabour crossing to complete the necessary procedures and send them to their hometown to be buried.
The four young men, Agid Saadullah Abbas, Muhammad Sharif Omar, Fahd Al-Taher, and Wael Ahmed Rasool, died two days ago of suffocation in a closed truck that was taking them from Turkey to Greece.
