The latest books of President Barzani will soon be in the hands of readers

ARK News… The first edition of President Barzani's latest book in Kurdish, titled Kurdistan and the New Iraq 2003-2016, which is the sixth volume of the Kurdish Liberation Movement, will be available to readers.

President Barzani's headquarters said in a statement, the new book consists of 1,234 pages and two volumes. It describes the most important stage in the new history of Kurdistan and developments over thirteen years of history, and it consists of fourteen separate chapters.

Adding that the book refers to the situation in Kurdistan and Iraq during that important period, and discusses in detail the series of events that moved political life in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq to a new stage, from the Iraq liberation war, the fall of the regime, the beginning of Kurdistan's role in the new Iraq, the Governing Council, the stage transition, drafting the new Iraqi constitution, Iraqi elections, differences in the Iraqi political process. The book also describes violations of the constitution and dozens of other important events in Iraq.

He explained that President Barzani discusses in his book, in detail, the political process in the Kurdistan Region, the establishment of the Presidency of the Region, the Kurdistan Region's relations with countries, elections and other important events in the Kurdistan Region during those years.

He pointed out that the last part of the book revolves around the fight against ISIS, the heroism of the Peshmerga, and the steadfastness of the Kurdish people against the attacks of ISIS terrorists until the liberation of Mosul.

The sixth volume of the Kurdish Liberation Movement contains 94 important historical and political documents related to the political events in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region between 2003 and 2016, and the book is rich in a large number of historical photos and maps of the battles of the Kurdistan Peshmerga forces against the terrorists of ISIS.
