Allocating 3 billion dinars to purchase medical equipment for two hospitals in Halabja

ARK News... The Kurdistan Regional Government has allocated about 3 billion dinars to provide medical equipment for two hospitals in the city of Halabja.

The Department of Media and Information stated, through a statement today, Wednesday, June 21, 2023, "Within the framework of the interest of the ninth formation of the Kurdistan Regional Government to provide health services to all cities and towns, the regional government decided to provide medical devices for two hospitals in the city of Halabja at an estimated cost of three billion dinars."

The department added, "The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, agreed to allocate an amount of two billion and 700 million dinars to secure an MRI device for the Martyr Muhammad Hamad Amin Radiology Center, and a CT Scan device for the Halabja Emergency Hospital."

The amount will be disbursed from the budget of the Public Health Department in Halabja, according to the department's statement.
