Afrin IDPs, victims of forced recruitment by PYD militants

ARK News... Among the continuous violations against the Kurdish people in Syrian Kurdistan and the areas under the control of the PYD administration, PYD militants recently kidnapped a number of children and minors in the town of Tel Rifaat in the countryside of Aleppo and the neighborhoods of Aleppo from the displaced of Afrin, while revealing about the name of another kid kidnapped over a year ago.

ARK documented the names of four children who were kidnapped by PYD militants from the displaced people of the Afrin area in Aleppo and its countryside.

1-The 14-year-old girl, Fatima Rifaat Hassan, born in 2008, from the village of Barade in the Sherawa area, was kidnapped in the town of Tel Rifaat on Sunday 03/07/2022.

2-The child Sevin Fawzi Hassan, 16 years old, from the village of Gawrike of Mabata town, was kidnapped in the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood in Aleppo city.

3-The child, Sheikho Nadim Abdulaziz, born in 2007, in the village of Dersiwan, in the Shara town, was kidnapped the last year in 2021 in Kobani.

4-Ahmed Haitham Jafo, born in 2008, hails from the village of Kurzele in the Sherawa area.
He was kidnapped while leaving Michael Nahme School in the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood of Aleppo, on June 22, 2022.

Hundreds of thousands of Kurds are displaced from the Afrin region in Syrian Kurdistan as a result of the Turkish invasion, on January 21, 2018, and there are tens of thousands of displaced people living in Tel Rifaat and al-Shahba, and between the other period, the displaced children are subjected to kidnapping for the purpose of forced conscription.
