To the family of deceased committed Kurdish artist Said Gabari
To the lover of the late artist

On the morning of this fourth day of May, we received the tragic news of the departure of the late prominent Kurdish artist, Said Gabari.

We have known him since his artistic beginnings as a committed artist to the issues of his people and country, and because of his artistic activity he was persecuted by the security authorities in Syria and Iraq, but this did not deter him from continuing his escalating artistic career until he became one of the most famous Kurdish artists.

The late was known for his burning intelligence, strong insight, and his exceptional memory, and he did not only serve his Kurdish people through art, but also got involved in the political, media and social struggle fields, so he excelled in it as he excelled in art.

The departure of the prominent artist Said Gabari, at the height of his giving, our heartfelt hearts, which left an artistic and cultural heritage inspiring for the coming generations.

We console ourselves, our party, and our Kurdish people for this great calamity

We belong to God and to Him we shall return
