Britain: ISIS attacks on Al-Sina’a prison in Hasaka are a desperate attempt to rebuild its forces
ARK News… The British Foreign and Development Office said that the attack launched by the "Islamic State" organization, last Thursday, on the industrial prison in the Gweran neighborhood of the city of Hasaka, northeastern Syria, is a "desperate attempt to rebuild its depleted forces."
In a tweet via its official account on Twitter, the British Foreign Office confirmed that "the international coalition is determined to ensure that ISIS fails to achieve its end," noting that "this attack and others in Syria and Iraq remind us of the danger that ISIS poses to the region."
Earlier and last Saturday, the US State Department condemned the attack by "ISIS" on the industrial prison, noting that "attacking the detention center has been a top priority for ISIS for more than a year."
US State Department spokesman Ned Price said, "This attack highlights the importance of the initiatives taken by the international coalition to defeat the organization and the need to fully fund them, in order to enhance the security of detention facilities for members of the organization."
