In the name of God the Merciful
On the occasion of the New Year and the birthday of Christ, I extend my warmest congratulations and blessings to all the Christian brothers and sisters in Kurdistan, Iraq, and the world, wishing them happiness and joy.
On this occasion, I stress the need to establish a culture of coexistence and brotherhood among all components of Kurdistan, and I hope that our Christian brothers and sisters will celebrate all their holidays and celebrations in peace and tranquility.
