ENKS stands in solidarity with the families of the victims and the Kurdistan Region as a result of the floods

ARK News... The Kurdish National Council in Syria sent a message of solidarity to the President of the Kurdistan Region and expressed its condolences to the families of the victims and those affected by the floods.

We have followed with more regret the property damage and human casualties that the region has suffered as a result of the torrential floods and torrential rains that occurred in Hawler, the capital, Kirkuk, and some of the surrounding areas on December 18, 2021.

On this painful occasion, we express to you, on behalf of the Kurdish National Council, and through you to those affected, our sharing of their suffering and our condolences to the families of the victims, asking Almighty God to protect you, the Kurdish people and the region from all harm.

We are fully confident in your ability to overcome difficulties, rebuild and take good care of the bereaved families. It is also the responsibility of the international community to stand with you in alleviating losses and providing the necessary needs.

We can only assure you that the Kurdish National Council and its supporters from the Kurdish people in Syria are in solidarity with the region's leadership and people and wish them further progress and prosperity.
