The President of the Kurdistan Regional Government calls the families of the victims of floods and torrential rains in Erbil

ARK News… Representing of the Prime Minister of Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, the Governor of Erbil, Omid Khoshnaw, visited on Sunday evening the families of flood victims and torrential rains, in the capital, Erbil and its suburbs, and the Prime Minister spoke with these families via phone calls.

Masrour Barzani offered his condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, calling on the Almighty God to bless the victims with his vast mercy and dwell in his vast gardens and inspire everyone with patience and solace.

The prime minister stressed that he recommended all concerned agencies exert all their efforts to find the bodies of the victims who were swept away by the torrents and have not been found so far. He stressed, "We will do everything necessary to help and support the families of the victims and those affected by the floods and torrential rains, and we will not fall short in that."

According to the Directorate of Civil Defense in the capital, Erbil, this evening, Sunday, the bodies of 10 of the 12 victims that were swept away by the torrents were found, and only 2 of them remain, and the efforts of the specialized teams continue to search for them.
