The ENKS Presidency’ statement on the meeting with the new US Ambassador, Mr. Matthew Beural

ARK News… A meeting, on Thursday, 16/12/2021, was held between a delegation from the presidency of the Kurdish National Council in Syria with the new US ambassador, Mr. Matthew Beural Barrel, and the former ambassador, David Brownstein, via the Internet from Washington.

The American delegation stressed the importance of the Kurdish National Council and its role in the political process of the current situation in the country, and that the United States of America supports the Kurdish-Kurdish negotiations and the resolution of the existing differences between the Council and the PYNK. The situation in the Kurdish regions and northeastern Syria in general, and ways to help the Syrian people were reviewed.

In turn, the council delegation stressed the importance of Kurdish negotiations, and reaching a pact that would achieve the unity of the Kurdish position, and create stability in the region.

Continuing communication and meetings were emphasized to overcome existing obstacles...
