ARK News… Based on the protest call made by the families of the kidnapped minors to be recruited by the PYD’s Revolutionary Youth Organization, which was scheduled in front of the United Nations headquarters in the city of Qamishlo to reveal their fate and release them immediately, so the Asayish deal with the Democratic Union Party by closing all the streets leading to the place of the protest and preventing passers-by from entering it, however, the protesters’ will be stronger than their decisions, and immediately the protest was moved to the opposite of Farman Hospital. Here, PYD gunmen intervened and tried to disperse the protesters, confiscating cameras and mobiles, preventing media professionals, and arresting some of them, and detaining them for several hours. Thus, the machine of intimidation and repression did not undermine the determination and will of the protesters to deliver their message to public opinion, which is a threatening message to the activists and the families of the Roj Peshmerga, who are being interrogated and threatened by the Asayish of the Democratic Union Party.

In another context, PYD militants raided the office of Rudaw TV and arrested six of its employees under the pretexts and accusations that the Syrian regime was practicing at the time. On the sixth of this month, a group of masked gunmen in the city of Derbasiya threw leaflets in the center of the city and the homes of civilians with the phrase (it is time to hold the traitors accountable), in a related context, the Asayish carried out a campaign of arrests this morning in the Kurdish areas, targeting young people randomly, under the pretext of forced conscription. Their number reached about 800 detainees, the vast majority of whom are minors or those who have postponed studies. Despite the fact that their families submitted documents proving their postponement or being under the legal age, they have not yet been released, all with the aim of intimidating and tensing the Kurdish street and pushing them to emigrate.

We in the Kurdish Yekiti Party - Syria condemn in the strongest terms these terrible violations against media professionals and the families of the kidnapped minors, and we call on the leadership of the Syrian Democratic Forces to implement its pledges and put an end to these violations and stop these terrorist practices that are taking place against our people at a time when our regions suffer from a difficult economic and living situation, The stage we are going through is delicate and critical, and the continuation of these violations serves the stalkers of our people and their just cause.

We also call on the American side to assume its responsibilities towards the violations that are taking place in its area of influence, to put an end to them, and to hold the perpetrators accountable.
