ARK News… The fighter Khalid Mashayekh, on Friday, 3/12/2021, departed in Germany, who devoted most of his life to serving the Kurdish cause and was imprisoned for eight years by the gunmen of the Syrian regime.

Brief on the life of the fighter Khalid Mashayekh

- Khalid Mashayekh was born in 1937. He is considered one of the first members of the Kurdish Democratic Party in Syria, Al-Party, immediately after its founding, when he was elected to the leadership at the time.

- He was one of the teams that founded the Kurdish left, which followed the path of Barzani, and was a member of the negotiations assigned to him by Mustafa Barzani in the party’s disputes at the time in 1965, and he was imprisoned several times and was prosecuted by the Syrian authorities.

- He participated in the Unity Conference between the two parties of the Party in 1970, which was called the National Conference in Iraqi Kurdistan under the supervision of the immortal Barzani, and was elected to the party’s advisory committee at that time.

- In fighting the notorious Arab Belt Project, he was imprisoned with his companions (Daham Miro, Abdul Hamid Sino, Muhammad Nazir Mustafa, Amin Sheikh Gulin, Muhammad Fakhri, Kanaan Agid, Ahmad Haj Saeed Effendi Al-Arabo, Mulla Muhammad, Horo Ahmad, Baqi Sheikh Mahmoud, Mustafa Ibrahim, Mahmoud Sabri, Zakaria Muhammad, Elias Ramo, Hassan Eho, Soro Diqmaq, Abdullah Mulla Ali, Hasi) eight years in the chauvinist Baath prisons.

- His family tasted the bitterness of deprivation, and after his departure, he continued on his national line as a prominent social figure.

- On his emergency trip to Europe, an accident happened to him in which he broke his pelvis and made him almost paralyzed in Athens, the capital of Greece.

He passed away on Friday (3/12/2021) in Germany.
