Dr. Saman Barzanji told Kurdistan 24 Channel: Three waves of the virus have passed through the Kurdistan Region, and we currently expect a fourth wave to come, and we will face the coronavirus in the next four to five weeks, and only the vaccine process can mitigate the effects of infection.
Barzanji stressed the need for all teachers to receive vaccinations while stressing the importance of all citizens receiving vaccinations.
The Minister of Health indicated that the option of closing schools and educational centers in the Kurdistan Region is not on the table.
