ARK News... The US Embassy in Damascus confirmed that the grain, "wheat seed" provided by the US Agency for International Development, has undergone a series of tests to verify its quality.

The US Embassy in Damascus published on its Facebook page: Before arriving from Iraq to farmers in northeastern Syria, the wheat seeds provided by the US Agency for International Development underwent a series of tests to verify their quality.

The embassy said: The tests examined the seeds to ensure their purity and freedom from infection and pests, and to ensure that they were treated with fungicides.

The embassy emphasized: The US Agency for International Development ensures that all agricultural products it provides are suitable for local agricultural conditions.

The United States of America decided to provide nearly 32,000 metric tons of high-quality wheat seed to farmers in northeastern Syria with the start of the critical wheat growing season.
