Nechirvan Barzani: We are committed to protecting women's rights and ending violence against them
ARK News… On the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and the launch of the 16-day campaign to combat violence against women, the President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, said that the region is committed to protecting and supporting women's rights, and ending violence based on social discrimination.
Nechirvan Barzani said in a tweet on his Twitter account: "On the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, we condemn all forms of violence and abuse against women."
"We remain committed to protecting and supporting women's rights, and ending gender-based violence," he added.
