Afrin... Mawlida Numan is one of the victims of the de-facto authority

ARK News… In its report, the Human Rights Organization in Afrin said, on 31/05/2021, that the indigenous Kurds continue to offer their lives as victims of war merchants, in the prisons of the Turkish forces and the armed militias loyal to it.

The organization added that the Kurdish citizen Mawlida Numan, 62 years old, from the village of Bazike of Jenderes town, lost her life on Sunday 30/05/2021 as a result of the brutal psychological and physical torture she was subjected to in the notorious Shepherd prison of Al-Ra’i, similar to the prisons of the Syrian regime. Members of the Hamzat militia told the relatives of Mawlida, the news of her death from a heart attack, and that the body should be received.

The organization also added that the Kurdish citizen Mawlida Noman was kidnapped in late April 2019 from her home in the village on charges of dealing with the former de facto authority of the PYD, and she was suffering from chronic diseases (asthma - diabetes - heart) and in the recent period - late June 2020 - her children were subjected several times to material extortion under the pretext of her release.

The organization concluded its report by saying: Last week, on 25/05/2021, seven Kurdish citizens lost their lives in Al-Ra'i prison as a result of torture and chronic diseases without receiving treatment deliberately.
