Note that the neighborhood is controlled by several armed militias, including Ahrar al-Sharqiya and Sultan Murad, and there are members of the Mu'tasim militia.

In another context, the organization said that an explosive device exploded in a white van in the villa street near Nawroz roundabout on Wednesday morning 24/02/2021, wounding three people, including a civilian and two from the Ahrar al-Sharqiya militia, and transporting them to Afrin Hospital for treatment.
