President Barzani condoles the departure of one of the Peshmerga of the Republic of Kurdistan in Mahabad
In the name of God the Merciful
With great sadness and sorrow, we have received the news of the departure of the well-known figure in Kurdistan and the Soran region, and the Peshmerga of the September Revolution, the late Izzat Suleiman Beg Darkley.
The deceased was a member of the decent family and the son of the late Suleiman Beg, the Peshmerga of the Kurdistan Republic in Mahabad and Barzani’s comrade, the immortal to the former Soviet Union, was also a patriot, a fighter interested in the Kurds and loyal to Barzani's approach.
I extend my condolences and sympathy to the militant Izzat Suleiman Beg family, and all relatives, acquaintances, and comrades of the deceased, and the Kurdish patriots, and we share their grief.
I ask Almighty God to bless the soul of the deceased with the breadth of his mercy, to dwell in his spaciousness, and to inspire all patience and solace.
We belong to God and to Him we shall return
