What did the American consul say about the Kurds?
ARK News.. Stephen Vision, the US Consul General in the Kurdistan Region, announced that he had finished his duties as a US Consul in the region.
The official page of the American consulate in Erbil published a farewell message to its consul, Vision, in which he said that he expresses his sincere gratitude "to the friends, memories and purposeful work that we have accomplished together in the past two years," noting that Erbil has served as his home throughout his work.
He continued, "Working with the people of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq to enhance our common goals was a privilege and an honor ... Our entire team also worked for the United States to deepen relations with the people of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq."
The consulate published photos of its consul documenting what it described as "some unforgettable moments in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq."
It is schedule to replace the new Consul General Vision with the new consul general Bob Woller.
