Local sources said: "The 14-year-old minors, Lina Abdul Baqi Khalaf, was kidnapped at 3 am on Thursday 7/2/2020, from her village" Tal Karam” of Derbasiya township in Syrian Kurdistan.

According to Kurdish activists, "The girl was kidnapped by an organization called "Jiwanen Shorashger "affiliated with PYD, and when the parents reviewed the" Jiwanen Shorashger Center ", they told them that she was the (minor girl) who gave her decision and any one will not be able to stand against her decision.

The sources indicated that the child, Lina Abdul Baqi Khalaf, is still a second preparatory student (eighth grade), and she was kidnapped in a flagrant violation of the rights of the child and the Kurdish community in Syrian Kurdistan, in addition to the kidnapping of the girl formed a critical health condition for her parents, which was deplorable as a result of their failure to bear the shock.

Kurdish activists appealed through social networking sites (Facebook), the commander-in-chief of "QSD", Mazloum Abdi, to intervene as soon as possible and return the girl "Lina" to her family's home in order to live the innocence of her childhood, as her natural place is the seats of study, not recruitment and carrying arms. "
