Fires break out in the mountains of Afrin

ARK News: Huge fires broke out in Qitme village of Shara township, in the Kurdish region of Afrin Region, today, July 2, 2012, as fires were extinguished by firefighting teams.

On the official Facebook page, civil defense teams said: Fires broke out in dry grass near a garden in the village of Qitme of Afrin countryside. adding: The fires were extinguished by the fire team at Izaz Center.

According to local sources and information obtained by ARK, the damages were limited to the material only.
