Derik... ENKS participates in the funeral of the freedom fighter Youssef Ne’mo

ARK News.. On Monday, June 29, 2020, the local council in Derik of the Kurdish National Council ENKS participated in the ceremonies of the burial of the martyr Peshmerga’s father, Mahdi Suleiman Ne’mo, in the village of Rikava in the Derik area in Syrian Kurdistan.

The head of the local council in Derik Ali Ibrahim delivered an eulogy at the grave of the deceased, in it he talked about his rituals and the history of the Ne’mo family in the village of Rikava, where this family is considered one of the first families to belong to al-Party and joined the ranks of the Kurdish revolution, the glorious September revolution, as well as the Gulan revolution, in the forefront of which is the retired Peshmerga Ali Youssef Ne’mo, who suffered wounds as a result of his participation in wars, until he lost one of his eyes in one of the battles, and this family remained given to the pleasures of its livers, until the martyr Peshmerga (Mahdi Suleiman Ne’mo) was martyred in Sihela after resisting its counterpart in modern history, in defense of Kurdistan in 2017.

Ibrahim concluded his statement that they, as a Kurdish National Council, will remain loyal to this struggle and to the values of martyrdom and the families of the martyrs.

Suleiman Yousef Ne’mo from the village of (Rikava) of Derik area was subjected to a heart attack that lost his life on Sunday night, 28 June 2016.
