ARK News.. Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that activists have monitored fierce clashes in Sari Kaniye in rural Hasaka, between two groups affiliated to the Turkish-backed faction of “Sultan Murad”. The clashes, which are accompanied by loud explosions caused by using heavy machineguns, have concentrated near Hasaka roundabout.

The Observatory added that the “Civil Police” have intervened to defuse the conflict, but one of the two groups attacked the civil police’s headquarters. These fierce clashes have sparked a state of panic and popular discontent in the area, while the reasons behind this fight have yet to be known.

SOHR, on Friday, concluded that an internal armed fight erupted among Turkish backed factions in Um Ishba village in Abu Rasin countryside (Zarkan). The fight, which erupted in the early hours of Friday morning, followed a dispute among the factions over distribution of stolen objects, crops profits and levies.
