ARK News.. After the Syrian regime set the price of 400 SYP per kilo of wheat, and the farmers agreed to transfer wheat and agricultural crops to the General Organization for Grain Trade of the Syrian regime, the PYD began to prevent farmers from selling their crops to the Syrian regime, and forced them to sell wheat to them.

Local sources from the city of Hasaka stated that the PYD administration does not allow farmers to sell wheat to the General Organization for Cereal Trade of the Syrian regime in the receiving center in Hasaka city silos, and the PYD department has set up roadblocks on the road linking Amouda and Hasaka, to prevent the passage of trucks loaded with wheat.

The sources confirmed that the PYD forces farmers to sell agricultural crops to them at the price set by the PYD (315) SP, and the PYD department will in turn sell the wheat to the Syrian regime at the price set by the system, which is (400) SP.
