Fires continue to rage devouring hundreds of donums in Hasaka countryside

ARK News: Local sources said that continued fires in north-eastern Syria. Some more than 500 donums of wheat and barley crops burned down in many villages of the countryside of Hasaka, which are being contained and extinguished by the residents.

The sources added that another fire broke out in the village of Tal Barak in Qamishlo countryside, while residents were able to contain it after more than 400 donums of agricultural crops were burned down.

Local source said today that rocket attacks by Turkish-backed factions on areas in the village of Tal Harmel, which is under the control of SDF and regime forces in Zarkan countryside. No casualties have been confirmed.

Activists reported their pages that one civilian died and another injured while residents were trying to extinguish fires in agricultural crops in SDF-held village of Al-Assadiya near the frontlines with the areas controlled by Turkish-backed factions.

It is worth mentioning that the area near the frontlines is witnessing successive fires which quickly spread to adjoining areas, causing of hundreds of dunums of agricultural crops being burned down.
