Nearly 35 COVID-19 Cases Recorded in Kurdistan on Thursday: KRG

ARK News.. Nearly 35 new infections with coronavirus were registered in the Kurdistan Region on Thursday, the health ministry reported.

The ministry confirmed earlier the day that a dozen of people tested positive for COVID-19 in Erbil province on Thursday, explaining that six of them were in Ankawa town.

According to a new statement by the ministry, at least 22 more cases were detected in Sulaimaniyah province in the evening.

The new reports brought the total number of people so far found infected with coronavirus in the region to 566. However, 407 patients have recovered from the novel virus while five others have lost their lives.
