ARK News.. The British Guardian newspaper reported in a report published on Saturday that the dispute between the head of the regime, Bashar al-Assad, and his cousin Rami Makhlouf, reveals a power struggle that threatens the existence of the entire regime, pointing to a hidden Russian role that fuels this dispute.

The newspaper pointed out that Makhlouf's words caused a dispute between Assad's supporters, although all of them still support the regime, but some also began to sympathize with Rami, wondering why the president is doing this to his cousin.

The report indicated that in the weeks leading up to Makhlouf's appearance, Russian officials spoke of their disappointment with Bashar al-Assad, as two former diplomats indicated that he had taken a few steps toward a political solution, setting the stage for the long-awaited reconstruction of Moscow.

Rami Makhlouf had appeared twice on social media, complaining of the imposition of heavy fines on him, and complaining that the security services have overpowered his employees.
