Demonstration against Al-Nusra Front militia in Idlib
ARK News.. The Syrian Observatory has monitored a night demonstration in the city of Idlib, denouncing the practices of Tahrir Al-Sham against the demonstrators protesting the opening of the commercial crossing with regime-controlled areas, in the village of Miznaz in western Aleppo countryside near the administrative border with Idlib province.
Meanwhile, security officials of HTS tried to disperse a demonstration near the “Clock” square using different ways and firing live bullets at the demonstrators.
Similar protests have took place in Kafr Takharim city in western countryside of Idlib, amid widespread popular discontent.
On the other hand, activists have called for demonstrations and sit-ins in Idlib province under the slogan “No to opening the crossings… For the martyrs for dignity.”
SOHR sources have that a civilian died of injuries sustained, after being shot today by the security forces of Hayyat Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS), during participation in protests against the opening of a crossing with the regime.
Syrian Observatory added earlier this after that tens of residents from Maarrat Al-Na’ssan town and countryside gathered on the road to Miznaz town in the western countryside of Aleppo, blocking the way of trucks heading to the commercial crossing. While HTS security forces tried to disperse them using the same violent methods that the regime was using at the beginning of the Syrian revolution while repressing peaceful demonstrations.
Turkish drones had dropped leaflets over several areas in rural Idlib, indirectly inciting citizens against an armed faction, calling on them not to believe the lie of those who are upset by stability, and calling on the people to help the Turkish army to secure peace and calm in the region.
