Turkey defies America: "We have become a strategic force that sets conditions for Washington"
ARK News: Turkish Minister of the Interior, Suleiman Soylu, said on Sunday evening, December 29, 2019, that his country has become a strategic force in the region that sets its conditions before the United States without hesitation.
In a speech at the advisory council meeting of the ruling Justice and Development Party in Hakari, in the southeast of the country, Soylu added:
"Turkey took bold measures at the start of the 21st century, as it has become a strategic force for the time being, and it has become a force that can carry out military operations against terrorism outside its borders, and sets its conditions before the United States without hesitation."
He explained that Turkey is currently sitting at the negotiating table with Russia and Iran, to discuss the situation in the region, noting that his country is not the country that has no choice but the United States, Europe and the West.
