ARK News: The US Secretary of Defense, Mark Esper, has announced that he does not rule out sending additional forces to Syria if necessary.

"I think so, and if not, we will send additional forces," Esper said at a security forum in California when asked if the United States has sufficient strength in Syria.

He added that he is in constant consultation with the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Central Command of the US armed forces, to provide all that is needed to complete the tasks.

US Defense Secretary Mark Esper, on Thursday, said he was not excluded that the United States would continue to reduce its troop presence in Syria.

"If an allied member of a NATO member decides to send 50 people, I may withdraw 50 people," US Defense Secretary Mark Esper told Reuters.

According to Esber, the United States has completed withdrawing its forces from "northeastern Syria." He pointed out that Washington maintains the possibility of inserting and removing a small number of American soldiers, but the total number of US military personnel present in the area for the foreseeable future will be around 600.

The US President, Donald Trump, announced after Turkey started its military operation in Syrian Kurdistan, his decision regarding the withdrawal of American forces from it, and then announced his other decision regarding the survival of American forces in "eastern Syria" to dig oil fields.
