Qatar is ready to support Turkey's plans to settle more than a million Syrian refugees in Syrian Kurdistan
ARK News: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said that Qatar may support Turkey's plans to settle more than a million Syrian refugees in the north-east of their country after its attack on the SDF and YPG forces in the region.
NTV television quoted Erdogan as telling reporters during a return trip from a trip to Doha that he had presented his plans to Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and that "our projects impressed him."
In response to a question of whether Qatar would contribute to the financing of the plans, he said: "They are at a stage: (we can implement these efforts together). In fact, there is no other way."
Erdogan said that he also presented the plans to Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump, adding that he would renew his call for a donor meeting at the NATO summit in London next week.
