Sari Kaniye …. Armed factions severely beat a national figure
ARK News: The pro-Turkish armed militias continue to commit attacks by various means against civilians and politicians of the residents of the city of Sari Kaniye city in Syrian Kurdistan.
The official website of the Kurdish National Council in Syria, on Tuesday, November 26, 2019, published that the prominent national figure Mahmoud Al-Amo was severely beaten and insulted yesterday by armed groups and factions (mercenaries) in the city of Sari Kaniye.
According to the same source, "Mr. Mahmoud Al-Amo suffered a severe break in the head and bruises on the entire body of the old, as a result of his opposition to the looting of a shop belonging to a citizen in the city there, where they met him beaten and insulted and was forcibly removed from the scene."
The site pointed out that Mahmoud al-Amo, a former senior member of the Kurdish Yekiti Party in Syria and chairman of the Local Council at its previous session in the town of Sari Kaniye (Ras al-Ain), is over 75 years old.
Since the beginning of the Turkish military operation in Syrian Kurdistan and militias belong to armed factions loyal to Turkey continue in their violations against civilians and confiscation of people's property without any accountability or deterrence.
