Astana 13 discusses the situation in East Euphrates

ARK News: The Kazakh Foreign Ministry confirmed that the next meeting in the formulation of Astana on resolving the crisis in Syria will be held in the capital of Sultan on 1 and 2 of next August.

The Kazakh foreign ministry said in a statement yesterday that the thirteenth meeting will be held in Nur Sultan and will be planned to participate of guarantor countries "Iran, Russia and Turkey" in addition to the delegation of the Syrian regime and the delegation of the opposition.

"According to the statement: “Senior observers from the United Nations and Jordan, as well as Lebanon and Iraq, who are participating in the Astana process for the first time, will be assisted in the conduct of the talks as observers.”

The statement pointed out that the next meeting will focus on discussing the latest developments in Syria, especially in Idlib and the northeast of the country, "East Euphrates".
