ARK News: The United Nations World Food Program (WFP) has announced of the expansion of relief operations in Syria, especially in Idlib and northern Hama

The program issued an assessment of the humanitarian situation in northwest Syria, where military operations have killed civilians.

According to the report, the UN program will expand its operations through the distribution of food aids to 823 thousand people affected by the recent military escalation, to be distributed during the month of June.

The western and southern provinces of Hama and the southern Idlib have witnessed a massive exodus since last April, towards the northern regions of Idlib and the border with Turkey, as a result of a military campaign by the Syrian regime and its Russian ally in support of aviation.
