Nechirvan Barzani Congratulates President Masoud Barzani
ARK News.. Deputy President of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), Nechirvan Barzani, extended his congratulations to President Masoud Barzani as the party surpassed one million votes in the sixth session of Iraq’s parliamentary elections. He reaffirmed his commitment to President Barzani’s guidance in serving the people and safeguarding the rights of all communities in Kurdistan and Iraq.
In his statement, Nechirvan Barzani said: “From the depths of my heart, I extend my warmest congratulations to His Excellency President Barzani, to the families of our noble martyrs, to all KDP members and supporters, and to the loyal people of Kurdistan on this great and historic victory of our party in the Iraqi parliamentary elections.”
He stressed that “this victory is a triumph for all of Kurdistan and Iraq, and a source of collective pride and joy.”
The KDP Deputy President added: “My deepest gratitude and appreciation go to all the dedicated individuals who bore the burden, worked tirelessly, and acted with utmost devotion to bring the KDP’s votes to over one million—making it once again the leading party.”

ISIS Weapons Depot Seized and Three Militants Arrested in Hama
ARK News.. In a security operation in the city of Soran, north of Hama, the Internal Security Directorate seized a weapons depot belonging to the Islamic State (ISIS) and arrested three members of the cell.
According to SANA News Agency, Osama Zainaddin, an official with Hama’s Internal Security, stated that “the ISIS cell was targeting civilians, Syrian army personnel, and internal security forces.”
The source added that internal security units carried out a precise operation in Soran, leading to the arrest of the three militants and the discovery of a weapons depot.
The cache contained explosive belts, IEDs, rocket launchers, grenades, and various types of ammunition.

Masrour Barzani Congratulates Successful Completion of Iraqi Parliamentary Elections
ARK News.. Masrour Barzani, Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, issued a statement on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, marking the conclusion of the federal parliamentary elections.
The full text of his statement reads: “By the grace of God, the voting process for the federal parliamentary elections has been successfully completed. I extend my sincere congratulations to the Iraqi people in general and the people of Kurdistan in particular, thanking them for participating in this electoral milestone and exercising their national rights and duties in choosing their representatives.
I also highly appreciate the efforts of the Independent High Electoral Commission and all security forces—including Asayish, police, and Peshmerga—for their responsible role in ensuring a safe and successful election process. I commend the work of all domestic and international observers for their assistance and meticulous monitoring of the voting process.
I hope that the voters’ voices will be respected and their trust preserved, and that the elected representatives will truly reflect the will of the people, faithfully fulfilling their national responsibilities by defending the constitutional rights of the people of Kurdistan, preserving the integrity of the region, and addressing the aspirations of all Iraqi citizens.
We seize this occasion to look forward to a new era of a democratic federal Iraq, where justice ensures all legitimate rights for our people. Kurdistan Ministry of Peshmerga Condemns Assault on Kurdish Youth for Raising Kurdistan Flag in Tuz Khurmatu
ARK News.. The Ministry of Peshmerga Affairs in the Kurdistan Regional Government strongly condemned the assault on a Kurdish youth in Tuz Khurmatu by a member of the Iraqi army, reportedly over carrying the flag of Kurdistan.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, the Ministry said: “This behavior represents a clear violation of human rights and contradicts the principles of the Iraqi Constitution, which recognizes the Kurdistan flag as a symbol of the Region’s identity within Iraq’s federal and democratic system.”
The statement emphasized that the flag of Kurdistan is “a symbol of dignity and national belonging for the people of Kurdistan and must never be a reason for abuse or violence against citizens.”
The Ministry of Peshmerga called on legal authorities and the Joint Operations Command in Iraq to“take immediate action and open a serious investigation into the incident, holding those responsible accountable according to the law.”
It further stressed the importance of preventing such acts, which undermine peaceful coexistence among Iraq’s communities and harm national efforts aimed at strengthening stability.
The statement concluded: “Maintaining mutual respect between security forces and citizens is the foundation of security and stability. Such violations do not serve the public interest.”

Hakan Fidan: I Met President al-Sharaa and Conveyed Turkey’s Position on Syria to the U.S.
ARK News.. Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan confirmed that he met with Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa during his visit to Washington, D.C., and conveyed Turkey’s position on the Syrian issue to the U.S. administration.
In remarks to the press, Fidan said he attended part of al-Sharaa’s meeting with American officials, during which he presented Turkey’s perspectives on the Syrian file, emphasizing the importance of Syria’s development, unity, and territorial integrity.
Fidan noted that his visit came at the invitation of the U.S. side and coincided with the Syrian president’s presence at the White House.
He added that he also held a series of separate meetings with senior U.S. officials, which focused on managing ongoing issues in northern and southern Syria, stressing that Syria’s unity and stability are essential for the security of the entire region.

U.S. Senate Passes Bill to Reopen Government After 41-Day Shutdown
ARK News.. The U.S. Senate has passed legislation to reopen the federal government after a record 41-day shutdown, marking the end of the longest government closure in American history. A small group of Democrats voted with Republicans in favor of the deal despite strong criticism from within their own party.
According to media reports, the shutdown — which has paralyzed several federal agencies since mid-September — may continue for a few more days as members of the House of Representatives, currently in recess, return to Washington to vote on the measure.
President Donald Trump praised the bipartisan agreement, calling it “a very good deal.” Speaking to reporters in the Oval Office, Trump said the shutdown would end “very soon,” adding that he would fully abide by the terms of the deal, which includes reinstating federal employees who were laid off during the closure.
The final Senate vote was 60–40, breaking a six-week stalemate in which Democrats had demanded negotiations with Republicans to extend healthcare tax credits expiring on January 1.
