آرك نيوز... أكد ناشط كوردي 25-2-2023 أنه بعد وصول مساعدات مؤسسة بارزاني الخيرية إلى عفرين وجنديرس وتوزيعها على المتضررين, أصبح الوضع أفضل.
وقال ريبر أحمد خلال مشاركته في نشرة ريباز اليوم السبت، إنه لا تزال هناك حاجة ملحة للخيم خصوصا بعد مغادرة الأهالي لمنازلهم خوفا من إنهيارها.
وأشار إلى أن عملية إزالة الأنقاض تجري ببطء، إذ لم تتجاوز 15 بالمئة حتى الآن.
ودعا أحمد المنظمات الدولية للعمل في عفرين وجنديرس وتقديم يد العون للمتضررين.

Washington allocates 50 million dollars to help refugees in the earthquake zone

Switzerland: We continue to provide aid to Syria and Turkey

The Swiss Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the Swiss authorities are continuing to send aid to the areas affected by the earthquake.
"Switzerland recently sent doctors, engineers, tents, and hygiene items to the earthquake zones," she added.
Swiss health experts arrived in Hatay, southern Turkey, on February 20 to treat children and their mothers, and the Swiss authorities sent 300 winter tents to the affected areas in Syria.

Beijing responds to criticism of its document on the Ukrainian settlement
ARK News… Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin considered that the criticism of the Chinese document on the political settlement of the Ukraine crisis is an unjustified attempt to "discredit China."

واشنطن تخصص 50 مليون دولار لمساعدة اللاجئين في منطقة الزلزال
أعلن الرئيس الأمريكي جو بايدن عن مساعدات تصل إلى 50 مليون دولار لتلبية احتياجات اللاجئين المتضررين من الزلازل في تركيا وسوريا.
في تعميم رئاسي، السبت، فوض بايدن وزير الخارجية أنتوني بلينكين بتقديم مساعدات بقيمة 50 مليون دولار لتلبية الاحتياجات العاجلة للاجئين المتضررين من الزلازل في تركيا وسوريا.
وذكر التعميم أن بايدن خصص 50 مليون دولار كمساعدة من صندوق المساعدة في حالات الطوارئ، لتلبية الاحتياجات العاجلة غير المتوقعة للاجئين الناتجة عن الزلازل في تركيا وسوريا التي وقعت في فبراير الحالي.
وذكر بايدن أن المساعدة تشمل مساهمات للمؤسسات الدولية والمنظمات غير الحكومية، بما في ذلك المجتمعات المضيفة، ودفع النفقات الإدارية لمكتب السكان واللاجئين والهجرة التابع لوزارة الخارجية الأمريكية.

A Saudi aid convoy arrives in northwestern Syria
ARK News… On Thursday, February 23, 2023, a Saudi humanitarian aid convoy entered northwestern Syria for those affected by earthquakes in the region, provided by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center.
The convoy entered from the Al-Hamam crossing, consisting of 44 trucks containing about 500 tons of coal for heating, blankets, sponges, and flour for ovens, and it will be distributed to the affected people in Jenderes in Syrian Kurdistan and the Idlib region.
It is considered the second largest Saudi aid shipment entering northwestern Syria, as 22 trucks entered yesterday, and 22 trucks are scheduled to enter today.
Part of the convoy will go to the city of Jenderes, to be distributed by the "Al-Amin Organization", and another part will go to Idlib.

بعد توقف دام 25 عاما.. روسيا تبدأ باستخراج مادة خام أغلى من الذهب
باشرت روسيا، بعد انقطاع دام 25 عاما، باستخراج خامات الليثيوم، المعدن الاستراتيجي المستخدم في صناعة البطاريات الكهربائية ومكونات الصناعات النووية والفضائية.
وبدأت مؤسسة مشتركة بين شركة "نورنيكل" وهيئة الطاقة الذرية الروسية "روساتوم" باستثمار أكبر منجم لهذه الخامات في روسيا.
ويشار إلى أن روسيا تحتل المرتبة الثالثة في العالم من حيث احتياطي الليثيوم. وكان الاتحاد السوفيتي يشغل المركز الثاني في إنتاج هذا المعدن بعد الولايات المتحدة. ولكن في عام 1997، أوقفت روسيا عمليات الإنتاج بعد تراجع السعر العالمي لهذه الخامات وأخذت تستوردها من أمريكا اللاتينية والصين.
في العام الماضي توقفت روسيا عن استيراد هذه المادة من الأرجنتين وتشيلي بسبب العقوبات الغربية، وترافق ذلك مع ارتفاع حاد جدا لأسعار هذه المادة – وصل سعر الطن الواحد في عام 2022 إلى أكثر من 80 ألف دولار.
واعتبار من العام الحالي، بدأت المؤسسة المشتركة "ليثيوم المنطقة القطبية" المذكورة أعلاه باستثمار مكامن كولموزيرسكي الضخمة في مقاطعة مورمانسك.
تم اكتشاف هذه المكامن في عام 1947، ولكن بسبب قلة الطلب على هذا المعدن توقف العمل فيها. الآن هناك طلب مرتفع على المعدن بسبب نمو بنسبة 75٪ في مجال إنتاج السيارات الكهربائية. وخلال العامين الماضيين قفزت أسعاره قفزات تاريخية. يتوقع المحللون أن يستمر الاتجاه لفترة طويلة.

نفى الهولندي فرانك هوغربيتس، توقعات نسب إليه، بشأن هزة قوية تطال عدداً من البلدان.
وقال هوغربيتس في تغريدة على حسابه الرسمي في ‹تويتر›: «ادعاء كاذب من موقع frankhoogerbeets.com، الذي لا تربطني به أي علاقة.
والخميس الماضي، حذر الهولندي فرانك هوغربيتس، من أنه قد تحدث بعض الأنشطة الزلزالية في الفترة ما بين 25 و26 من شباط الجاري، ولكن ربما ليست كبيرة، إلا أنه حذر من أن الأسبوع الأول من شهر مارس سيكون «حرجاً».
ونشر هوغربيتس تغريدةً بفيديو من حساب الهيئة الجيولوجية التي يتبعها (SSGEOS)، مؤكداً احتمالية وقوع أنشطة زلزالية ليست بكبيرة خلال يومي 25 و26 من شباط، ولكنه حذر من أن الأسبوع الأول من شهر مارس، واصفاً إياه بأنه «سيكون حرجاً».

وكان فرانك هوغربيتس، الذي حذّر من حدوث زلزال تركيا قبل 3 أيام من وقوعه فجر الاثنين 6 شباط، كان ظهر في فيديو بثه على ‹يوتيوب› بعد وقوع كارثة تركيا بأربعة أيام، وتوقع فيه بحدوث هزة قوية، كما تحدث عن إمكانية حدوث زلزال يشمل مصر ولبنان، ما أثار جدلا واسعا في المنطقة

The White House announces new sanctions against 200 individuals and entities in Russia and third countries
ARK News… The White House said the United States will impose sanctions against more than 200 individuals and entities from Russia and third countries over Russia's own military operation in Ukraine.
"On Friday, in coordination with G7 partners and allies, the Treasury and State Departments will impose broad sanctions on key financial sectors. This will result in sanctions on more than 200 individuals and entities, including both Russia and third countries," the White House statement said.
The British Foreign Office announced earlier in the day the expansion of the list of sanctions imposed against Russia which included 92 individuals and legal entities, including those associated with the "Ross Atom" company.
On Friday, New Zealand and Australia imposed new sanctions on Russia, affecting companies and a group of politicians, military, and businessmen.
The West has stepped up sanctions pressure on Russia over Ukraine, which has led to higher prices for electricity, fuel, and food in Europe and the United States.

Murat Quorum: More than 500,000 housing units collapsed or need to be demolished in Turkey as a result of the earthquake
ARK News… Turkish Environment Minister Murat Quorum said that they were able to identify 520,000 housing units that had collapsed or needed to be demolished as a result of the devastating earthquake that struck the south of the country, on February 6.
This came in statements he made, Thursday, during a press conference at the Turkish Disaster Management Center in Adi Yaman.
The Turkish minister explained that they examined 4,511,000 independent housing units within 1,250 buildings in 11 states that were affected by the earthquake.
He added that, as a result of this investigation, they concluded that there are 520 thousand independent housing units inside 164 thousand and 321 buildings that collapsed or need urgent demolition or were severely damaged as a result of the earthquake.
The Turkish minister renewed their intention to compensate the earthquake victims for their damaged homes, within one year.
On February 6, a 7.7-magnitude earthquake struck southern Turkey and northern Syria, followed hours later by another with a magnitude of 7.6 and hundreds of violent aftershocks, which left huge losses of lives and property in both countries.
