ARK News… The Barzani Charity Foundation organized a celebration for children with special needs, in the Qoshtapa refugee camp in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region.
The Foundation said on its page on the social networking site “Facebook” on September 11, 2023, that it organized a celebration for children with special needs on the seventh of this month in Qoshtapa camp.
It added that 10 children attended the celebration, and gifts were distributed to them to bring joy to their hearts.

ARK News… The Barzani Charity Foundation opened a mobile maintenance course in Darshukran refugee camp in the Kurdistan Region.
Barzani Charity Foundation said on its Facebook page, “On September 7, 2023, in cooperation between the Barzani Charity Foundation and the Stirling Foundation, a mobile maintenance course was opened in Darshukran camp within the borders of Erbil Governorate.”
It added that 10 residents of Darshukran refugee camp participated in the course.

During the commemoration ceremony, Basse Abdi, a member of the Political Bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria, gave a speech in which she spoke about the glorious September Revolution and its role in the struggle of the Kurdish people against injustice and tyranny.
Writer and journalist Ahmed Sofi delivered a speech in which he gave an overview of the liberation September Revolution and its achievements to the audience.
Abdullah Ismail, as the oldest member of the party in the Derik region, spoke about the September Revolution, its high values, and the sacrifices that were made through it in defense of the legitimate national rights of the Kurdish people.

ليبيا.. العاصقة دانيال تخلف آلاف الضـ.ـحايا
أفاد مسؤولون ليبيون، أمس الاثنين، بأن عدد ضحايا العاصفة "دانيال" والفيضانات والسيول التي اجتاحت مناطق في شرق ليبيا يقارب حوالي ألفي قتيل، فيما يتجاوز عدد المفقودين خمسة آلاف شخص.
وجاءت تصريحات المسؤولين مع وصول "دانيال"، التي اعتبرت أشد عاصفة ممطرة شهدتها اليونان، وفق رويترز، الأراضي الليبية فيما بدأت دخول السواحل المصرية، بوقت سابق من يوم الإثنين.
وقال رئيس الحكومة الليبية المكلفة من البرلمان، أسامة حماد، إن الوضع كارثي جدا، مشيرا إلى أن عدد الضحايا في مدينة درنة يفوق "2000 قتيل والمفقودين بالآلاف".

أمريكا تقر بنقل 6 مليارات دولار من الأموال الإيرانية المتجمدة
أصدرت الولايات المتحدة استثناءً من العقوبات للسماح بنقل ستة مليارات دولار من الأموال الإيرانية المجمدة من كوريا الجنوبية إلى قطر، في أول إقرار رسمي من الحكومة الأمريكية بأنها ستطلق سراح خمسة إيرانيين محتجزين في الولايات المتحدة في إطار اتفاقية من أجل تحرير المواطنين الأمريكيين الخمسة.
وأفادت وثيقة وزارة الخارجية الأمريكية بأن وزير الخارجية أنتوني بلينكن قرر أن الاستثناء من العقوبات يصب في مصلحة الأمن القومي للولايات المتحدة.
وقالت "لتسهيل إطلاق سراحهم، تعهدت الولايات المتحدة بإطلاق سراح خمسة مواطنين إيرانيين محتجزين حاليا في الولايات المتحدة والسماح بتحويل ما يقرب من ستة مليارات دولار من الأموال الإيرانية المودعة في حسابات مقيدة (في كوريا الجنوبية) إلى حسابات مقيدة في قطر، حيث ستكون الأموال متاحة فقط للتجارة لأغراض إنسانية".
وأوضحت الوثيقة أن تحويل الأموال لن يقدم سوى "فائدة محدودة لإيران" لأنه لا يمكن استخدام الأموال إلا في التجارة للأغراض الإنسانية.
وجاء فيها "السماح بتحويل هذه الأموال من الحسابات الإيرانية المقيدة الموجودة في كوريا الجنوبية إلى حسابات في قطر للتجارة لأغراض إنسانية أمر ضروري لتسهيل إطلاق سراح هؤلاء المواطنين الأمريكيين".

Two refugee families return from Turkey to their hometown in the Mabata town of Afrin

A source from Mabata town, on Monday, September 11, 2023, said that two Kurdish families have returned to their hometown in Mabata town in Afrin, Syrian Kurdistan.
The source confirmed that the two families returned from Turkey to the town.
The past few months witnessed an unprecedented return of displaced Kurdish families in Aleppo and the displaced in al-Shahba camps, as well as refugees in Lebanon, Turkey and the Kurdistan Region.
After the Afrin war, more than 300,000 Kurds were displaced to al-Shahba camps, and became victims of the PYD administration's policy, which prevents the displaced from making their decision to return or head towards Aleppo and other areas.
Despite the terrible violations taking place in Afrin, the displaced Kurds decided to return to their hometown, especially after more than five years have passed since they stayed in the camps in the countryside of Aleppo.
Politicians call for the need to return to limit demographic change in the region.

فرنسا تبدأ بمحاكمة مسؤولين للنظام السوري
تبدأ فرنسا بإجراءات محاكمة ثلاثة مسؤولين من النظام السوري، في قضية مقتل سوريَّين يحملان الجنسية الفرنسية، في أيار 2024.
وأفاد مصدر قضائي امس الإثنين، لوكالة فرانس برس، أن المسؤولين سيحاكمون في قضية مقتل مازن دباغ ونجله باتريك، بتهمة تورّطهم في ارتكاب جرائم ضدّ الإنسانية وجرائم حرب، أمام محكمة الجنايات في باريس.
وستكون هذه المحاكمة التي كشفت صحيفة "ذا ناشونال" الإماراتية بداية مواعيد انعقادها، أول محاكمة في فرنسا في جرائم ضدّ الإنسانية ارتُكبت في سوريا.
ويُرجّح أن يُحاكم غيابيا كلّ من الرئيس السابق لجهاز المخابرات العامة علي مملوك الذي أصبح لاحقا رئيس مكتب الأمن الوطني، والرئيس السابق لجهاز المخابرات الجوية جميل حسن، ومدير فرع باب توما (دمشق) في المخابرات الجوية عبد السلام محمود. وثلاثتهم مستهدفون بمذكرات توقيف دولية.

أردوغان: عودة العلاقات التركية - المصرية ستؤثر إيجابا على الملف السوري
أكد الرئيس التركي رجب طيب أردوغان، أن عودة العلاقات بين بلاده ومصر إلى سابق عهدها ستنعكس إيجاباً على القضايا الإقليمية وخاصة الملف السوري.
جاء ذلك في تصريح أدلى به للصحفيين، مساء الإثنين، خلال عودته من الهند التي احتضنت قمة زعماء دول مجموعة العشرين، والتي التقى على هامشها بالرئيس المصري عبد الفتاح السيسي.
وقال أردوغان: "عودة علاقاتنا مع مصر إلى وضع أفضل من ذي قبل قد تمكننا من تحقيق نتائج إيجابية في العديد من المشكلات الإقليمية وخاصة في الملف السوري".

President Barzani: It is necessary to take the path of dialogue and moderation to solve the problems between the two sides
ARK News… President Masoud Barzani, on Monday, September 11, 2023, received at the Salahaddin resort the US Ambassador to Iraq, Alina Romanowski.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on the political situation in the region and Iraq, the obstacles and problems facing relations between the Kurdistan Region and the federal government of Iraq, and the reliance on dialogue to resolve issues.
The American Ambassador expressed her country's support for the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government in order to continue dialogue and negotiations and reach an appropriate solution, especially with regard to the budget and other outstanding issues.
Romanowski also expressed her concern about the tensions and events that took place in Kirkuk, which resulted in casualties among peaceful Kurdish citizens.
In this regard, President Barzani renewed his support for Iraqi Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa al-Sudani. Stressing that the talks will continue to reach a solution to the issues.
President Barzani confirmed that they expect the Prime Minister to take the necessary steps to correct the situation and maintain stability in Kirkuk.
Legal measures will also be taken against those who caused chaos and bloodshed in Kirkuk
The political situation in the region, relations between the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan and the Kurdistan Democratic Party, and the need for internal consensus and resolving issues was another topic of the meeting.
President Barzani stressed that he would not hesitate to support the solution of the region's internal problems, considering that it is necessary to follow the path of dialogue and moderation to solve the problems between the two sides.
