Nash’at Zaza: The Kurdish National Council will have an active role in the safe area
ARK News: From time to time, the Kurdish National Council faces fluctuations that affect its political role, but it has a presence in various discussions at the level of political Kurdish and Syrian, and recently it has been talking about a potential or confirmed role of it in the safe area and others.
On the role of the National Council and its presence and the French initiative, the leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria Nash’at Zaza told to the site of Welati News.
As for the importance of the National Council at this stage, the leader Nash’at Zaza explained that the importance of the Kurdish National Council is not linked to time and place. "The Kurdish National Council and through the parties affiliated with it remains the basic and political pillar of the national project and the struggle for the Kurdish issue in Kurdistan of Syria", and it is the "legitimate representative and ambassador accredited internationally and regionally for this issue, notably, but not limited to Geneva and its derivatives, not to mention the forums concerned with the political process in Syria."
As for the safe area and the expected role of the Kurdish National Council to play, the leader Nash’at Zaza stressed that the Council will have an active and practical role in the safe area, adding that "it is too early to predict the size and kind of this role", according to the Kurdish leadership is" the lack of vision and international consensus between the conflicting parties and overlapping with the Syrian issue, and in particular the different political agendas and strategic priorities for the allies of yesterday and the parties today "
The Kurdish leader explained that "the most fundamental dilemma in this equation, is the Kurdish Kurdish dispute apparent to everyone, and especially the particularly destructive intransigence of the thinking and abuse of the Democratic Community System of not to accept the joint partnership”.
On the question of the French initiative, and why the talk stopped, and the saying that the Kurdish National Council was not ready for it, the leader Nash’at Zaza said that "it is premature to judge the initiative failed, especially in light of the current situation, stressing that " the national interest of our Kurdish people requires all of us to press for a genuine reconciliation that serves the national interest of this nation's project. "
Zaza stressed that "the Council has not and will not abandon its national and moral duty and even political one to push the Kurdish issue to reach a Kurdish Kurdish consensus.”
In a question about the real presence of two views in the National Council regarding the situation in the safe area and the Turkish role in it, the leader Nash’at Zaza said that the position of the Council is clear in this regard, and that "we said earlier and say it now, we appreciate all efforts to establish a safe area to mitigate the war, but at the same time that the region has to be under the auspices and care of the international countries as America and Europe, and be with common self-management to all components and their sons. "
"The Council also takes into consideration the concerns of the neighboring countries, especially Turkey, and it always emphasizes the building of strategic relations which based on good neighborliness and real partnership of mutual interests of the Kurdish and Turkish nations and other nations," Zaza said.
Regarding of opportunities for a joint Kurdish administration, and the Council's minimum conditions for approval of the partnership with the leader, Nash’at Zaza noted that "the opportunity is great if the real goal or goal is to realize the legitimate rights of the Kurdish people on this part of the Kurdistan region."
