ARK News: The lawyers of Mr. Abdullah Ocalan, leader of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK), published a letter attributed to him from his prison on the island of Imrali in Turkey on Monday 6/5-2019

I believe that the message was very important in terms of timing and content, and can be built upon through a road map adopted by the concerned parties, including Ocalan himself, which could include the following steps and principles:

1- To set free Mr. Ocalan from his prison and put him in a safe place in Turkey and under the supervision of the Turkish government

2- Starting the formal dialogue with him about the peace in Turkey released immediately from prison.

3- Mr. Ocalan has to expel Qandil leadership from his party, the PKK, and all related systems to it.

4- Providing Qandil leadership for fair trials for the use of violence against the will of their leader and his decisions and causing the deaths of thousands of people since the announcement of the cessation of fighting in Nawroz 2013

5- He has to declare the disengagement of his party at all with the Syrian branch of the Democratic Union Party the PYD and all civil systems and military wings of YPG and YPJ that formed in Syria.

6- Withdrawing all PKK leaders and cadres from Syria into safe areas outside Qandil's command.

7- To reserve this Party its right to express its opinion on the developments in Syria and the manner it deems appropriate.


I believe that following these steps will be beneficial to all parties in

Turkey, Syria and the Kurdistan Workers Party.
