Riha ... A meeting between ENKS and the Syrian Negotiating Body

ARK News: A delegation from the local council of the Kurdish National Council in Kobani/Riha met on Wednesday 8/5/2019 with the head of the negotiating body, Nasr Hariri and his accompanying delegation from the negotiating committee and the Syrian opposition National Coalition in Urfa city in Kurdistan of Turkey, and on the sidelines of the meeting of the negotiating body with representatives of civil and social activities and the Kurdish National Council on the latest political developments in Syria.

The meeting between the delegation of the Council and the head of the negotiating body, Nasr Hariri concentrated on the political negotiating process and the obstacles to the formation of the Constitutional Committee and the recent developments in Idlib.

The two sides also discussed field developments in all areas of Syria and the eastern Euphrates in Kurdistan of Syria in particular, and the file of the safe area to be established by the United States and its allies in the Kurdish areas in the north of the country.

During the meeting, the delegation focused on the violations against the Kurdish citizens in Afrin region by the armed groups. The Council also referred to the arrests of civilians while they were returning from the Jarablis crossing by the same armed groups.

For his part, the head of the negotiating body, Nasr Hariri praised in the meeting the role of the Kurdish National Council in Syria in the negotiating process and the opposition and the Syrian revolution since its inception.
A delegation from the Kurdish National Council in Orfa participated in a remarkable meeting of the head of the Negotiating Committee Nasr Hariri and members of the Negotiating Commission and the Syrian National Coalition representatives of civil and social activities in Orfa through the presence and interaction in the dialogue on the Syrian issue in general and Kurdish in particular.

The Kurdish National Council delegation in Orfa included the head of the Council Ali Ibrahim, members of external relations Hanan Abbas and Ali Tami, the representative of the National Coalition Council Dr. Kaniwar Rasoul, Kurdish leader Farhad Shahin, and some other Kurdish political figures.

A delegation from the Kurdish National Council in Kobani/Riha met with a delegation of Swedish diplomats and a representative of the Swedish Embassy in Ankara at the Council's headquarters in Urfa on the latest developments in the Syrian situation.
