Afrin ... The arrest of Kurdish civilians in Qantare village

ARK News: The Human Rights Organization in Afrin published on its official page on Facebook that armed elements of the al-Shamiya Front faction carried out a campaign of arrests in the village of Qantare of Mabata town in the Kurdish city of Afrin, accusing Kurdish citizens of dealing with the former self-administration and handing them over to the military police in Afrin city:

1 - Fa’eq Ibish Abdo was arrested for more than 3 months and for the fifth time. Note that in the previous he paid a ransom of 100 thousand Syrian pounds in exchange for his release.

2 - Mohammed Sheikh Mahmoud Na’asan was arrested for 3 months and for the second time. After he was forced to pay the huge ransom for the first time.

According to the Human Rights Organization in Afrin, the following Kurdish citizens were arrested by the same pro-Turkish armed faction, on Thursday on 02/05/2019, and bellow is their names:

3 - Sherko Ali Mohammed.
4- Mohammed Youssef Youssef.
5 - Hanan Ali Ali.
6 - Ahmed Omar Mohammed (Khalbash).
7 - Farhad Abdo Sido.
8 - Hanan Ibish Ali bin.

It is worth mentioning that the armed groups continue in arresting the citizens of the Kurds under feeble arguments and to force them to pay huge ransoms for their release, especially in the towns of Mabata and Shiye.
