Muslim Mohammed: The safe area must be under a new joint administration of all components of the eastern Euphrates region

ARK News: In an interview with the ARK Media channel with the leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria, a member of the Political Bureau Muslim Mohammed, where he stressed:

That the US and Turkey have seen greater convergence on the security zone as a result of the failure of the US President in the implementation of his plan, which requires the involvement of the forces of 21 Arab and Western countries in the East Euphrates, and it was agreed on several points, including:

The first point:

Naming the area with a safe area where there were many terms including a buffer zone or security zone.

The second point:

The safe area should be air-locked and shared by the international coalition, Turkey and America.

Third point:

The safe area should be free of the Syrian regime and the militias of Iran.

He also pointed out that there are many points that have not been agreed upon yet, including the depth of this safe area and the possibility of survival or non-survival of the People Protection Units the (YPG) of the Democratic Union Party the (PYD).

The points that are not agreed also till now the form of management and who will participate in the management of this region.

On the other hand, and about the threats of the Syrian regime to the region and the possibility of returning to it,

The leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria Muslim Mohammed, said that Faisal al-Miqdad and other followers of the regime do not have any decision on Syrian soil since the Syrian regime is not the decision-maker in Syria and its threats are nothing but sabotage.

Muslim Mohammed also confirmed that Kurdish National Council in the grip of the balance in the east Euphrates and any agreement which the Council does not participate will not succeed and must participate all components of the eastern Euphrates in a new administration and continued saying:

The Kurdish National Council is within the international equation, where it is part of the international resolution 2254.

The Kurdish National Council is also the owner of the land and has the Peshmerga forces which are trained academically and this force is accepted by the regional and international parties.
