ARK News: The team of response coordinators counted the displacement of more than 100,000 civilians in northern Syria within a week as a result of shelling by the Assad and Russian forces.

According to a report by the team on Monday, May 6, the number of displaced people from the date of 29 April to today is 103539 people or the equivalent of 16619 families.

While the total number of displaced persons during the period from 2 February to 6 May was more than 317,868, or 51022 families.

The group expressed deep concern that the number of displaced persons from the region had risen to more than 600,000, compared to the size of military operations.

It is worth mentioning that the displaced people fleeing the war go to the Afrin area and settle in the homes of Kurdish civilians forcibly, despite that most of the houses are not vacant, especially in Shiye town, which threatens the region to the inevitable demographic change
